• Shipping will usually take between 3 to 10 days. Should one of the products you have ordered be unavailable, we will endeavour to have this made or ordered and have this posted to you as soon as possible. Of course, if unforeseen delays occur, one of our lovely team members will communicate with you.

Shipping

  • Whilst we package everything as well as we can, accidents can happen. If your delivery arrives with broken items, take photos and contact us within the month of purchase. Please note that we will not refund a product based on colour changes over time or outside the month of purchase.

  • We like to keep all of our customers happy. If you aren’t satisfied with your order or an order item, contact us as soon as possible. At our discretion, we will do our best to find a solution.

Refunds & Returns

Nourished Skin

  • Nourished Skin products will last between 6 to 12 months after opening.

  • Our entire range is gentle enough for all skin types. However, we recommend our Ultra Sensitive skin range for those with extra sensitive skin. This range has been made specifically for those who suffer from sensitive and easily irritated skin.

  • Unfortunately, no. We love to use organic products where possible, often due to pricing and ingredients availability, but it’s not something we can achieve. All our Nourished Skin products will have a ‘*’ that denotes an organic ingredient.

  • We’re proudly Australian-owned, with all our Nourished Skin products made here in Adelaide, South Australia.

  • To keep our products as fresh as possible, we only make Nourished Skin products in small batches.

  • Yes. The entire Nourished Skin range is vegan and cruelty free. We will never be involved with products tested on animals.

  • We recommend booking your appointment at least four days in advance to secure your preferred time. Click here to book an appointment online

    Last-minute appointments and walk-ins are more than welcome. However, you may have to be flexible with time.

  • We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your treatment for new and existing customers. This way, you can relax into your treatment and fully immerse yourself in the salon.

  • We are located at 99B Jetty Road Glenelg. We do not have any onsite parking; however, there are plenty of 1-2 hour free parking options around us. For public transport, the salon is closest to tram stop 16. The Cheap as Chip's car park and Event Cinema car park is located on Partridge street, where 2-hour free parking is available.

  • Vouchers expire after three years from the purchase date. You can use a Skin Things voucher on products and or services.

  • No. Our treatments and services are performed with the highest quality products available. We believe in quality over quantity at Skin Things and endeavour to provide you with an incredible service every time.

    However, should a client wish to have multiple services together, at our discretion, we may bundle these and offer this as a ‘package’ at a special price. We also have packages such as our Tanned Up membership, discounted as a bundle price.

    Additionally, if you sign up for our mailing list, you’ll receive a one-time 10% welcome discount on any service or product on your birthday.

  • For all of our facials, we only use our Nourished Skin products. For spray tans, we use Eco Tan and Sunescape. For all of our makeup services, we use products from Youngblood Mineral cosmetics, and for our mani's and pedi's, we use Evo Gel and Ethos and Gemini nail treatments.


    All products listed here can be purchased at the salon or online.

  • No. We do not require masks to be worn inside the salon. However, if you are more comfortable wearing one, please do so. Here at Skin Things, we respect everyone's individual choice about how they go about this and ask that our customers do the same for our staff.

  • Yes. The booking system that we use is Fresha. All appointment reminders and communication regarding your upcoming appointment will be sent via this platform. You may receive text messages, emails or alternately; you can use the Fresha app to book and change appointments up to 24 hours prior.

  • We require a deposit to confirm and secure your booking. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your appointment.

  • Yes. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Unless under extreme circumstances, you are required to cancel or change your appointment before 24 hours to avoid our cancellation fee of 20% of the total service price.

  • All services performed at Skin Things are pregnancy safe or are able to change to suit. Our entire Nourished Skin range is completely natural and does not include any contraindicated essential oils so that you can have a blissful treatment without any stress. We also offer preggie massages for those in their second and third trimesters.

  • Yes. At Skin Things, we’re inclusive of everyone. All services we perform are available to all genders. For men specifically, we offer basic waxing. Please note that we do not perform male XXX or manzillions.
